There drywall back to my work and I smell the smoke that are like gas. I'm pregnant … Is it toxic?
I wondered if the smell is gas and say that is just the drywall. I do not want to be inhailing all that is toxic to the baby.
The sealing compound used to finish plaster sometimes creates chemical vapors that are toxic in high concentrations, but it's okay if you work place is well ventilated. There are many different formulations of compounds, it is difficult to say what the smell, but could not be a bad idea to leave this environment until it is finished with layers of plaster.
