Does teether from Fisher Price is safe to be used by my baby.?
I heard some products from the same manufacturer (Mattel) were being recalled because of excessive lead content, that’s why I’m afraid to use her new toy given by her daddy, as a gift (bought at Dubai on June 2007) to the fear that it has the same hazard as other toys recalled. My baby’s new toy is the rainforest monkey teether. Pls help, for safetey of my baby. Thanks
No Fisher Price infant gear has been recalled for lead concerns yet. The last recall on teething rinds was for Kids II and First Years. Unfortunatly it’s hard to predict what the can happen in the future now in this uncertain time of toy safety so I would suggest if you are truly uncomfortable contact Fisher Price and let them know your concern or return the unused teether to where you bought and choose something you feel more comfortable with.
