What is proper etiquette Baby Shower after a first child?
I ask because I am in my third pregnancy, but twins. Obviously, we do not have double of everything and my mother asked to throw a baby shower. I do a few things, but do not want to appear greedy or "unclassy" break a social rule. Also, someone told me that family should never throw a shower … as friends. What is the real deal?
It's a bit ignorant and despised by a woman to have a shower child after first child. There are exceptions, however. If your children have a parent before and the new parent is a father first then your family thinks is right. In addition, if the time between the pregnancy is 10 years or more. The family usually throw showers. Your friends can do it too. In general, support for family and friends contibute. If your other children are still young and only a few years have passed since their last pregnancy, so I would not. Seems to ignore.
