April is Dental Health Month Forty percent of kindergarten children in British Columbia have experienced dental caries. Many of these children need surgery dental hospital. However, dental caries is 100 percent preventable – just a little knowledge and regular dental examinations. In fact, the Association Canadian Dental recommends a child's first check should be in place within six months of the first tooth or a year old.
