Who takes away the stress of last minute activities, for example, the unbridled pursuit decoration needed vacation, or puzzle to go with a holiday in the right menu.

But what do we do if our family did not had a tradition of Christmas yet? Simply, we create our own tradition. Open the music box of our own childhood memories. What makes the Christmas holidays so special? It was this heavenly scent of cinnamon, orange and pine that are woven into the air in a medley of the promise of Christmas? Or we remember Mother Christmas story by candlelight? It was the celebration of the music that touches the heart? With our own memories of the Christmas holidays in the heart, we to show our own family tradition of Christmas! Here are twelve ways!

1. Create excitement and joy in your heart and your family. Start by decorating his house to invite the promise of Christmas in the life of his family. My mother used to decorate each image in our home with a cheap and smells wonderful pine branch. When we saw that the mother prepares for the holidays, the pent-up emotion in our lives.

2. On 1 December, we met a wreath of fir with four candles. Often these three candles purple, but it was pink. Life through the first two weeks, children were looking forward to the third Sunday of the pink candle of joy and hope has been lit.

3. Of course, we had an Advent calendar and one of us was allowed to open a window each day. This meant that children went to great length to ensure that children were good – clean, removing trash, washing dishes, etc. – for each of us has a duty to open a window.

4. Typically, a statue of the Virgin was carried from house to house in memory of Mary finding a place to give birth to her son. So when it came Time to open the door of our family and our hearts to Mary, our mother was bathing in the warm room, soft candlelight. We sang the old hymns and prayed. It was an honor to host the statue of one night, and every family has tried to prepare a special welcome.

5. On 4 December, the mother wants to contribute the branches of the garden of Santa Barbara. These branches of cherry tree, now brown and barren, open their flowers on the holy night. We saw Barbara thoroughly all branches day with enthusiasm and admiration. Because these branches apparently died shortly Brown small green leaves should thrive in the warm living room.

6. On 6 December was the St. Nicholas Day. It was a joyous day for children. In the window we found a plastic bag with crisp red apples, tangerines, nuts and chocolate. However, in our family, was also the tradition that St. Nicholas will visit in person. I remember one particular visit, when St. Nicholas admonished my little brother, who was very unpleasant to me in time. Little did not know that everyone knows – least of all San Nicolas, wise old man with bright eyes and long white beard, said to be directly Sky in our house. Since that day, my little brother does not bother me anymore. I guess he learned his lesson.

This completes the first part of our family traditions of the Christmas holidays. Be sure to read Part II as well. Let to discuss the traditional celebration of Christmas, sharing a beautiful and moving story of Christmas, and more.
