Is it too late to try to wean the baby?

Formula I breast rather raw, but I can still do with a baby fed BLW formula, right? If I'm right is when you let Your Baby decide when he wants to start solids, right? My doctor told me that they start, so we've been trying to fruits and vegetables for a while. She did very well at first, but then began to wake up crying at night. (He gives food to an hour before bedtime), but does not eat solid night, sleep well. So I guess it may be too early for solids. So I want to try BLW. Is it too late? And if not, exactly how do I start? Help. By the way, she is five months tomorrow! How old is a good time to begin offering solid foods?

Of course you can still do with a formula fed baby, you're right, you let a baby decide when he / she is ready for solid instead of pushing them when you (or someone else-a doctor) thinks he's ready. It is also allowing them to decide what to eat and how much him. It's not too late to do this and I think it might be a better approach than she does not sound quite ready for solids yet. Here is a website that can help start: ETA http://babyledweaning.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=240&Itemid=118: Noah started off meals on the table real at 7 months. We did BLW with him, though, but I wish I had known more about him at that time. I just want to see their signs. If she seems interested in what you are eating smaller parts offer the same (if you feel it is safe and healthy for her). The fruit can be a good start if like, as they are quite easy to mush up. You can also steam vegetables and fruit any more difficult to make them easier to mash up.
